If you’re looking to start your enduro MTB season in the Alps, Aosta Valley is the perfect destination. With its mix of alpine terrain, natural singletrack, and shuttle-accessed descents, this region offers a unique riding experience. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or planning your first enduro adventure, the variety of trails here caters to all skill levels.
Late April brought a surprising snowfall that left many trails covered with fallen trees and debris. Thanks to an incredible effort from local riders, volunteers, and trail builders, the trails are now fully cleared and running in excellent condition. Their hard work means you can ride safely and smoothly across some of the best lines in the region.
The season started under a light spring drizzle – and riders couldn’t have asked for better conditions. The moisture created perfect grip on the trails, also known as “hero dirt.” Corners felt faster, lines ran smoother, and the stoke level was high. It’s a reminder that sometimes, a bit of rain makes for the best rides.
At Aosta Valley Freeride, we’re back in full operation with our shuttle service. Whether you’re after high-speed descents, rocky technical sections, or flowy forest singletrack, we’ll get you to the top so you can focus on the ride down.
